Dishwashers Tips

	Remember to regularly clean the dishwasher filter.
	Talk to Ross's Plumbing about installing backflow protection on dishwashers and isolating taps on the water supply.
	Only run your dishwasher when you’ve completely filled it to make best use of the water and power use.

New energy efficient dishwashers heat their own water and do not require a hot water connection. If you have an older dishwasher it can be using 40 or more litres of water each time you run it, compared to newer models which use as little as 14 – 20 litres per wash.
